We will be growing the event in 2019, and our Steering Committee will be growing along with it. We ask Steering Committee members to take a lead in one of our major areas: Summit, Beer Garden, Saturday Dinner, Taste Marketplace, Community Cider Pressing, Awards. Take on a volunteer leadership role with Slow Food Cascadia. Below is a listing of a couple options.
Beverage Director - Develop and manage the beverage program for Slow Food Cascadia's Saturday evening event.
Taste Marketplace Coordinator - Develop and manage the 20-vendor Taste Marketplace at the Slow Food Cascadia Food Festival. Recruit vendors, manage logistics, and assist with setup.
Regional Chapter Outreach - Assist in developing a network of regional ambassadors promoting Slow Food Cascadia.
Volunteer Coordinator - Assist in recruiting, managing, and creating a welcoming experience for volunteers.
Hard Cider Garden pourer (MAST Permit required) - Two separate shifts: pour cider 11- 3 or tend Beverage Garden 5-9:00.

Farm to table tools of the 4th industrial revolution. 3-D printing, robotics, apps, appropriate technology, regenerative agriculture, and DIY farm equipment.
As a celebration of the Maker Movement, it’s a family-friendly showcase of invention and creativity that gathers together tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, food artisans, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. Makers come to show their creations. Attendees come to glimpse the future...and to learn to become makers themselves.
